The synBIOcarb ETN will provide 15 early stage researchers (ESRs) with advanced training in the essential enabling technologies that underpin the development and exploitation of glycoscience (some of which are derived from the previous SynGlycTis project):
- New lectin architectures
- Non-canonical amino acid (NCAA)-functionalised lectins
- Synthesis of glycocalyx components
- Interactions of cells and giant unilamellar vesicles (GUVs)
- Analytical device technologies
